Question:  What does the project entail?
Answer:  Chantilly Air will construct a state-of-the-art facility to support general aviation activity at Manassas Airport. The complex will consist of over 60,000 square feet of hangar space and more than 24,000 square feet of office space situated on more than nine acres of land.
Question: Why is Chantlly Air making this investment?
Answer: A recent Economic Impact Study showed Manassas Regional Airport as the busiest general aviation airport in the Commonwealth of Virginia, accounting for roughly 30% of the statewide $1.1 billion in general aviation economic activity. The timing is perfect for building a premier FBO facility. The benefit of having no commercial aviation at Manassas Regional Airport provides aircraft operators less wait times for taxi/takeoff. Based on our 28 years of jet operations, this is exactly what business aviation users want, maximization of their time.
